How to start recording:

Note：1. camera    2.  Microphone hole   3.USB   4.indicator led  5. Power on/off button   6.reset hole
Step 1:
Press the power on/off button, the device will power on and get start recording automatically, and the indication light will turn blue during the recording.
Step 2:
Press the power on/off button again, it will automatically save the data and turn to standby status, at same time, the indication light turns yellow, means the device is at standby status.
Step 3:
If need to recording again, just press the power on/off button once again, it will continue recording, during this time ,the indication light will turn to blue again.
Step 4:
Press the power on/off button for 5 seconds, the device will power off, when the device is power off, the indication light will off at same time.
How to set the date and time:
This version adds a function to set year-mounth-date hour:minute:second, and will be shown when playback. please setting the time correctly as follow:
1.Greate a .txt file, edit the content as "20080929100828"; 2008(year) 09(month) 29(day) 10(time) 08(minute) 28(second) to change to your current time, check carefully and make the correct format.
2.Save the txt file as "userconfig.txt"
3.Plug the Pen DVR to your computer, Copy the "userconfig.txt" to the root folder of the U_DISK of the pen.
4.Remove the pen DVR from your computer, power off the pen, then power on, the time will be setting correct.
5.you can record video and connect to your computer to check it, the time will be correct.
6.To play back the video on your computer please install the decode software or the KMP software first, please check it in your CD.

How to Charge the Spy Pen Camera-DVR:
When the battery has been use out. The device will power off automatically, but do not worry, the device will save the date before it power off. We need charge the battery before next use.
There are two ways for charge:
1,Just connect it with computer USB port, the computer found it and charge it automatically.
2,Put the pen DVR to the charger, and plug the charger into your electronic source, please check if the leg suit your standard. The charging time will be two hours.
During the charging the indication light will glittering, when the battery charged full, the indication light will stop glittering and turn yellow, which means that battery is fully charged.
Connect to PC
1.Connect the device to the computer via USB cable or by itself. It will charge the battery automatically (You also can charge the device use the adaptor).
2.During the connection the device as a removable disk, you can playback the video files, copy and delete files via the computer.
3.If your Media player can not support this video format, please install the decoder for your Media player. Please double click “klcodec329fbeta(decode software for media player).exe” to install.
4.We also offer KM Player software for you chose, just double click “The_KMPlayer_1432_R2.exe” to install the software.
